With my 50 years of experience in painting on canvas, teaching students to paint, and streching my own canvas, I have come to understand the way canvas works and how to repair it if damage occurs. I have had clients punchure large holes in canvas (over 4 square inches) and I have repaired them so well you could not tell where the patch was.
